BeWell and Healthy was founded by a board certified physician, licensed  personal trainers and nutrition coaches to provide a solution to individuals seeking to improve their overall health.  Though all individuals can benefit from and are welcome to utilize the services, BeWell and Healthy is focused on the unique needs of women over 40.  
 
Why is this population unique?  They are typically caring for parents, children, and partners.  Additionally, they often are at the peak of their careers. These factors together leave little time for self-care.  Physiologically, women in this demographic are also experiencing changes in metabolic function and may be going through menopause.  Busy lives and changing metabolisms often result in stress, unhealthy eating, and weight gain.
 
BeWell offers an overall wellness solution which incorporates a customized meal plan, personal fitness training, and stress management coaching.  For those who would like additional guidance, we offer pantry makeovers and grocery store tours to help you make healthy food choices.

Living healthy lifestyles and encouraging others to do the same is a common thread uniting the founders of BeWell.
 
Dr. Marissa Rocourt is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Doctor with over twenty years experience.  Her practice emphasizes health, wellness, and nutrition.  She develops treatment plans to help patients manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and high cholesterol.  
 
Scottie Winslow, MHA, MBA has been involved in health and fitness for over twenty years as well.  She has taught group classes as a certified spin instructor and is also a certified personal training and nutrition coach.  
 
Rhonda Babb has championed healthy living for over thirty years and has helped many individuals understand how to balance a demanding career with healthy eating and exercise.  She brings expertise as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.
 
All busy professionals over the age of 40, the team understands how challenging it can be to focus on personal wellness.  However, they also know how important it is to maintain as we grow older.
